Mary Ann Fraser grew up in Northern California with a creative family who loved crafts. As a child, Mary Ann enjoyed visiting the local library and by the second grade she was already creating her own books often about animals or inspiring people.
She has worked on more than sixty books for children, including No Yeti Yet (Peter Pauper) and Heebie-Jeebie Jamboree (Boyd Mills). She is a founding member of the Children’s author’s Network! as well as being a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and the California Reading Association.
Mary Ann Fraser continues to write and illustrate books for young people as well painting murals. Her other interests include gardening, hiking and taking care of her turtles.
She lives in Southern California.
